Negroamaro Rosato
A Negroamaro rosé from Salento: cold maceration on the skins, temperature-controlled fermentation in steel, and a bright nose of strawberry, raspberry and violet.
Characteristics
Description
Negroamaro Rosato comes from a brief cold maceration on the skins, for six to eight hours, followed by fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature of 16 to 18 °C and three months of ageing in steel.
To the eye it is pale pink, with bright highlights. On the nose it opens on strawberry and raspberry, accompanied by floral notes of rose and violet and a hint of citrus.
"Fresh, bright, direct: the rosé of Salento."
On the palate it is fresh and balanced, supported by a pleasant acidity leading into a clean, persistent finish.
